About Us

Kara Carver, MA, LPC, NCCH

She/Her

I see beauty and humanity in each individual, not a label or diagnosis. My office is a judgement-free space where I embrace diversity in all its forms. I enjoy working with individuals and couples to nourish attachment, connection and intimacy. Some of the modalities that I use are Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, family systems, and others. I also practice Hypnotherapy to help individuals evolve and change on a deeper level. By focusing on the mind-body connection, I can help clients align their thoughts, feelings, and attitudes to positively affect their biological functioning.

One of my passions is helping others experience the life changing joy of parenthood. I work with couples from preconception through pregnancy and beyond to maintain a strong and healthy sex life. Another passion of mine is working with individuals on a journey of self discovery, acceptance, and self-love.

I believe that all behavior makes sense in context. My role as a therapist is to be a mirror to clients as they heal and make sense of their story. My heart’s desire is to create a warm, compassionate, and safe space for clients while on their journey to becoming their most holistic and authentic selves.

When I am not helping others become their best and sexiest selves, you can find me playing outside with my wife, our children, &  and our pups, Lady & Betty D. Exploring the beauty of Colorado is my favorite form of self-care.
